FOR HOME SPORT www.borderwatch.com.au Inter champions Wins Interstate Club Challenge KY KYRA SYKES kyra@tbw.com.au kyr INTERNATIONAL Soccer Club has struck gold once more after returning from Football Federation South Australia’s (FFSA) Interstate Club Challenge with the competition title in hand. After being pushed to the limit by Western Australian squad North Perth United in the fi nal on Sunday, International found itself two goals ahead at the fi nal whistle, taking the win and fi nishing off an impressive season for the club. International’s 2013 season record is one to be admired, after struggling against rivals Apollo throughout the minor round of the Western Border Soccer Association, the black and blue dominated on grand fi nal day and stole the win from the favourites. Accompanying the premiership win was the opportunity to compete in its second FFSA Association Club Challenge, a chance to face tougher opponents over a two day tournament in Adelaide. INTERSTATE CHAMPS: International Soccer Club claimed the Football Federation South Australia’s Interstate Club Challenge title on Sunday after taking down Western Australia’s North Perth United 5-2 at Burton Park in Adelaide.
