Spotted: Chris Lilley MOUNT Gambier’s NIKKI MANFRIN and MYLES PEDLAR ran into Australian television royalty CHRIS LILLEY in Melbourne. Chris Lilley is best known for creating, writing and starring in a number of popular television series, including We Can Be Heroes, Summer Heights High, Angry Boys and most recently Jam’ie: Private School Girl. Currently living in Melbourne for study, Nikki and Myles spotted Chris at a bar in Collingwood last week. Both are long-time fans of Chris and stopped for a chat and a photo. Thanks to plenty of votes, Sam survived the fi rst elimination and avoided having to “dance for his life” in the bottom six during Sunday night’s episode. Sam teamed up with contestant ZOEY BLACK for a deeply emotional contemporary routine and had both the judges and audience members in tears. A sea of supportive comments and posts from Mount Gambier locals continues to fl ood Facebook timelines whenever Sam takes to the stage, while fans from across the nation use the hashtag #SYTYCDAU on twitter to show their support.
