The competition commences on Saturday with an opening ceremony, and concludes on the Monday afternoon with a series of finals matches. Players attended trial sessions at Tantanoola last month before selectors made final decisions on A grade, 17 and under, 15 and under and 13 and under teams. The Mid South East Netball Association has had success in previous years, with a number of teams making finals. After winning places in division one last year, the 17 and under side narrowly missed out on finals and the 15 and under and 13 and under sides made it to the quarter finals. All Mid South East teams are working to come away with a flag in this year’s competition. More than 90 teams are registered in the diverse and competitive carnival and players will look to catch the eye of scouts seeking state representatives.
